Epic Mallorcan Deep Water Soloing on an Arch
King Lines, the Big Up Productions film starring Chris Sharma, was the last climbing DVD I ever bought. I must have watched that thing a dozen times. One of the highlights of the film was watching Chris Sharma project this insane deep water soloing line that climbed up the severely overhanging belly of an arch. He repeatedly took massive, flailing falls into the churning water below.
That route was Es Pontas (5.14d?), and it took nearly 10 years for it to see a second ascent by Jernej Kruder. Check out the video of his attempt:
