Table of Contents

Summit Rock Climbing Gym OKC (Silos)

The silos gym is hands down one of the coolest gyms out there and a staple of the OKC rock climbing scene. Converted from old grain silos, these 90 foot walls are bolted with some killer routes for climbers of all levels. When the weather permits, you can even climb on the outside and take in a beautiful view of the city from the top.

OKC Summit Silos offers lead climbing, bouldering, a spray wall, and fitness classes. While a membership here get’s you access to Summit’s other location, it no longer works with the Texas network of gyms in Dallas and other cities. Those have now become part of Movement, but I wouldn’t say that’s a huge downside. Regardless, if you’re just passing through, this gym is a must visit.

You can visit the OKC silos location website here.

Summit Rock Climbing Gym OKC (Norman)

Located a bit outside of the city, this Summit location doesn’t have the same cool factor of the silos. That said, it is still an excellent climbing gym with over 12,000 square feet of routes for you to explore. As far as climbing goes, the gym offers the basic trio of lead, top-rope, and bouldering. Where it has an edge over its sister location is in its kilter and moon boards. For those wanting a facility that plays a bit more towards training, you might find more of what you want here.
